NOW Lunenburg County has been busy pursuing initiatives in response to the Ivany Report for over a year. Our initial focus on community has been successful in initiating projects and developing connections to improve the outlook of Lunenburg County.
We are now shifting our focus to the local economy and believe that this next step will lead to a more connected and prosperous economy for Lunenburg County. NOW LC held a gathering in June introducing members of the local business community to the work over the last year. From that gathering we put plans in place to host  working sessions on the economy this fall. Our first session took place at NSCC Campus on September 16th. Over 20 people met from a cross sector of our economy and participated in lively discussions.
