NOW Lunenburg County 3.0
Building Our Local Economy
Over 75 people gathered for an evening of conversation and sharing ideas at NOW LC 3.0 on February 4th.

NOW LC updated the group on their work over the last year, including engaging the business community and creating a smaller Working Group focused on strategies for the workforce.
Three groups on Immigration, Future Leaders and a Human Resource Think Tank held conversations and shared ideas on how to create growth and opportunities. To find out more visit our website for the event summary document and slideshow.

Did you know that a fresh new co-working space for Freelancers, Entrepreneurs, and Independents is coming to 724 King Street, Bridgewater? CO3 is a concept created by Andrew Button, a social entrepreneur. “The mission is to create a space that further cultivates rural Nova Scotia’s freelance economy.” CO3 is opening 29.2.2016! Check it out! www.co3space.com

NOW LC feels it is important to focus on a growth strategy that represents an opportunity to effectively bridge a gap between people looking for a good quality of life and Lunenburg County communities’ need to increase their populations in order to survive, thrive and develop.

For more information and to get involved, visit the website.

Best regards, Elspeth McLean Wile, Lynn Hennigar, Michael Belliveau, Paul Belliveau, Wayne Fulcher and Tim Merry.
