Youth: Lighting the Way
NOW MEETS 1.4

People gathered on December 4th  at the Mahone Bay Centre to discuss opportunities for youth in Lunenburg County.

Junior Achievement students, Megan Joudrey, Fernanda Cano, and Sonnie Desbiensin introduced  their company, Lighting the Way.

Their business focus is on youth market research. The purpose is to enrich the community by surveying youth and completing a report to sell to businesses. The students were joined by their Junior Achievement mentor, Patrick Henry from the LaHave Credit Union.

Do you have a question you would be interested in having the group survey?

You can connect with the group onFacebook or email them at lightingthewayja@gmail.com

A special thank you to Wile's Lake Farm Market for sponsoring the evening. Watch the slideshow from the event on our website.

The 15th Annual Atlantic Conference on Public Administration (ACPA) will be held at the Lord Nelson Hotel on January 29 and 30, 2015.  This year’s theme is Models for Success: Leading in Atlantic Canada.  The objective will be to create a learning environment that encourages conference participants to reflect on their role in leading innovative and transformation growth within their own areas of influence.  We expect that participants will leave with concrete ideas for development in Atlantic Canada.  For more information see their website at www.acpa-caap.ca
